want to incorporate something physical- maybe with the body (hand)/shopping reaching for an item
End goal- multimedia installation- you touch an item (either on screen or physical) and there will be an reaction- mood based filter maybe- shared economy maybe
Mood-Based Shopping Zone:
Interactive Projections & Mood Filtering:
- users choose from “mood buttons” labeled with emotions like "Relaxed," "Motivated," "Curious," and “Calm.”
- Based on their selection, the projected shopping environment changes color, audio, and product recommendations to suit that emotional tone. For example, “Relaxed” might show calming pastel tones, slow ambient music, and soothing product visuals like spa treatments or cozy loungewear.
- Effect: This lets users see how mood influences product selection, highlighting that digital well-being could encourage healthier shopping patterns by adapting to emotional needs rather than impulse.
slowly/impede/put barriers to the action- making things less convenient? let people cool down from the impulsiveness
Shared Economy Experience Zone:
Rent, Swap, and Share Simulations:
- concepts like renting, swapping, and sharing high-value or seldom-used items (e.g., designer bags, high-fashion clothing).
- Digital tablets allow visitors to browse a “shared closet,” selecting items they wish to “borrow” or “share.” Digital mirrors show what renting or sharing looks like
- Multisensory Immersion: When visitors select a shared item, projections display stories or past user experiences (e.g., a short video or audio narrative about the joy of sharing and sustainability). Background sound mimics social interactions, reminding users of the collective joy in shared economies. (sharing the joy without actually buying)
This allows visitors to experience the satisfaction of a shared economy, encouraging an appreciation of temporary ownership while fostering sustainable practices.
